Whats up World Changers?!
Our friends at Tea Drops have come together to support all of YOUR hard work last year running awareness campaigns, fundraising in your local community and learning how to lead a movement even during the COVID pandemic. Tea Drops wants to honor your efforts this year by partnering with Legacy Youth Leadership to provide ten (10) $1,000 scholarships.
Tea Drops is a Woman-led, American made, Organic & Fair Trade Tea Company that helps our partner organization build clean water projects with the purchase of each product. SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA / ELIGIBILITY
- Applications are open from July 5th, 2021 at 9am PT to August 2nd, 2021 at 9am PT
- Five (5) $1,000 Scholarships for Young Female Leaders
- Must be signed up for one of LYL’s three (3) Student Leadership & Mentorship programs (see below)
- Student Leadership Program
- Public Speaking Program
- School Club Program
- Must complete Scholarship Application (see below)
- Must be a Full time Student at any School during 2020-21 School Year
- Must be under 25 Years old & Identify as Female
- Must be signed up for one of LYL’s three (3) Student Leadership & Mentorship programs (see below)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- When can you apply?
- The Educational Scholarship applications will open July 2021.
- What is the application format?
- Students will complete a Google Form to collect basic information as well as answering the application questions.
- Who decides on the final recipients?
- Legacy Youth Leadership will elect an unbiased, third party committee (3) that have no experience in working with the scholarship candidates including Sashee Chandran, Founder & CEO of Tea Drops.
- What supplemental materials are required?
- In addition to the completed form, students are permitted to share photos/videos depicting their accomplishments as well as recommendations from a relevant advisor/mentor.
